On Wednesday, Michelle Knight continues her exclusive interview with Dr. Phil describing what it was like to live for over a decade trapped inside the home of Ariel Castro.
Knight tells Dr. Phil that she saw family searching for the other missing girls, Gina DeJesus and Amanda Berry, day after day. Knight says Castro would ask her why she didn't have family searching. Knight tells Dr. Phil, "He'll say things like, where's your family? Why don't have have any? They must not love you."
Knight also describes the days before Castro brought Gina DeJesus into the home on Seymour Avenue. Knight explains, "At the time he was telling me that I need to help him prepare another room. I didn't want to prepare another room." She says Castro told her he was having his daughter come over. But, Michelle knew the girl coming into the home was not his daughter, but instead, was Gina DeJesus.
Ariel Castro's first kidnapping victim, Michelle Knight, has called her 11 years in captivity hell. For the first time, she's detailing the abuse in an exclusive interview with Dr. Phil.
When Gina was forced inside of the home, Michelle says she told Gina that she knew her. Dr. Phil asked what advice Michelle gave her and she said, "I told her not to tell him that I know who you are. That there will be consequences to you telling him."
The girls were allowed outside of the home only a few times. During one occasion Michelle was forced to dig a hole in the backyard. Dr. Phil asked her how big it was, "Was it big enough to be a grave?" Michelle answered back, "Yes, for one person."
You can watch the second part of the exclusive Dr. Phil interview Wednesday at 5 p.m. on Channel 3.
