CANTON -- Police are reviewing video surveillance footage of two men who crashed a truck into the Stark County dog warden's office sometime Thursday.

The two were caught on surveillance video inside the building, and they are seen stealing items from the inside. That video has been turned over to the Canton police and the Stark County Sheriff's Office. No animals were hurt.

Stark County Dog Warden John Barber tells WKYC that when he came to work Thursday morning there was severe damage to the building.

Barber says that apparently two men got into a Stark County Waste District truck parked at the dog warden's office, and that the truck had the keys in the ignition.

They started the truck and plowed it into two dog warden vans, pushing them into the building. The vans did considerable damage to the building, including damaging a structural beam, according to Barber.

No dollar amount has been assessed yet, but, in all, the vandals damaged three dog warden vehicles, several other vehicles, a fence that they plowed through and the building itself.
