AMHERST -- A 41-year-old man wanted in connection with a pair of robberies at a McDonald's in Amherst has been arrested.
Police say Pablo Soto, of Lorain, committed the robberies on Nov. 26 and 28 in Amherst.
Police say Soto robbed his victims as they were in the process of using the bathroom at the McDonald's at 500 North Leavitt Road. In both instances, Soto allegedly attacked his victims from behind and knocked them to the ground.
Soto is accused of snatching their wallets amid the attack.
Authorities say Soto was on parole for prior aggravated robberies.
He has been charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, felonious assault, felony theft and theft.
He was taken into custody Dec. 4 when a Lorain officer noticed Soto as he was wearing the same clothing from the reported robberies.
