A Cleveland man and a Bedford woman are in the Erie County Jail after they were arrested Sunday for having $24,000 in Ecstasy.
According to the State Highway Patrol, troopers stopped their car for speeding near turnpike milepost 117 in Erie County just before 1 p.m.
Troopers smelled marijuana and saw a bag of yellow pills.
A search revealed 1,496 Ecstasy pills, six grams of marijuana and $3,210 cash.
The driver, Victor Hunt, 37, of Cleveland and the passenger, Brittany Dickerson, 24, of Bedford were charged with aggravated trafficking and aggravated possession, both first degree felonies, and possession of marijuana, a minor misdemeanor.
