SOLON -- Just after 8 a.m. Wednesday, a police officer saw a vehicle commit several marked lane violations as it drove southbound on SOM Center Road.

Police stopped the vehicle and identified the driver as Winston Bachelor, 32, of Cleveland. Bachelor had a woman riding in the passenger seat.

The officer reported that, while speaking with Bachelor, he immediately detected a strong odor of raw marijuana and there was evidence on his lap that he was attempting to roll marijuana joint while driving the vehicle.

Bachelor forfeited a yellow piece of paper that had 3 grams of marijuana wrapped inside.

Bachelor was found to be driving under a suspended license and he also had two warrants, one with Twinsburg Police Department and one with Bedford Police Department.

He was placed under arrest and taken to the Solon Jail where he was charged with DUS, Marked Lanes, Drug Abuse and bond was set for him.
