Three men were left dead and two others are in the hospital after two separate, unrelated shootings at bars in Fremont.

In the first incident, police responded to shots fired at the Last Call Saloon in the 500 block of West State St., shortly before 1:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Upon arrival, they discovered that an unidentified male had opened fire, shooting four people.

The bartender Ramiro Sanchez was pronounced, along with two patron of the bar, Daniel Ramirez and off-duty Elmore Police officer Jose Andy Chavez.

Another patron Ramiro Arreola, was Life Flighted to a Toledo hospital. His condition is unknown.

Later that morning, shortly after 3:00 a.m., police responded to another report of shots fired in the area of the Night Riders Motorcycle Club on Allen St.

Police arrived at the scene and found nothing, but a victim later showed up to Fremont Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

The victim, Cardell Beachum, remained conscious and refused to give details of the shooting, other than it was a large man he had never seen before. Beachum was unaware he had been shot until he got back home.

He was Life Flighted to another nearby hospital and his condition is unknown at this time.

No arrests have been made in either case.

The Fremont Police Department is asking anyone with information regarding either shooting to call 419-332-6464.
