Cleveland Police looking for the killer of a man on the city's east side

CLEVELAND -- One man is dead, and his killer is still on the loose after a shooting on the city's eastide.

The shooting happened around 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at 3878 E. 99th St.

The victim is only identified as a black male.

Residents reported hearing shots fired, they then saw victim lying on the sidewalk but did not see a suspect.

When police arrived, the victim was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he died.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiners Office will determine the final cause of death and the victim's identity.

There is no description of the suspect.
