MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS -- Police and the FBI are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Saturday morning.

At around 9:30 a.m. a man entered the Fifth Third Bank at 19053 Bagley Rd. He was holding a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from two separate teller stations.

The suspect appeared to have a black substance, believed to be shoe polish on his face. He is described as a white male, about 5'5" to 5'6" tall with a thin build and approximately 30 to 35 years old. The suspect was wearing a black knit hat, black sunglasses, gloves, a green plaid shirt and was carrying a white plastic bag.

It's believed the suspect was driving a black Chevy Cobalt and was last seen driving on Bagley Rd. toward I-71.

A reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
