The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Jimmy Short.

Short is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and the Cuyahoga Co. Sheriff for an assault. It is alleged that Short kicked in the door of a home near the 9500 block of Anderson Avenue in Cleveland.

He is believed to be hiding somewhere in Cleveland. He has a previous address near the 4000 block of E. 104th Street in Cleveland.

U.S. Marshals say he then chased the victim upstairs and struck him several times in the face with a handgun. The two were arguing earlier over a female.
