CLEVELAND -- Two weeks ago, we told you about a local special-needs student who said she was being bullied. Michelle Mills said it escalated into being attacked by a bunch of girls outside her school, William Cullen Bryant.
From the beginning, Michelle Mills' family has said she was the victim in all of this. Tomorrow there is a hearing scheduled at the Board of Education to plead her case.
The school suspended Michelle for being in the fight. She says she was just defending herself.
We now have the video of the fight, which was put on YouTube. It shows a teacher trying to get in the middle, then the girls start to go at it. The teacher pulls one girl away and then Michelle taunts her, and she goes after her.
We have just learned that the district has completed its investigation. They say they looked into the bullying allegations. They say they found no evidence the Michelle was bullied.
They disciplined her and the other girl because they were both fighting on school grounds. There is zero tolerance for any fighting. The teacher has also said he was assaulted by the other student.
