ELYRIA -- Another update on the kitten named Frosty found frozen to the ground earlier this week.

The kitten made a return trip to the vet today. The vet says Frosty has conjunctivitis in both eyes. Both eyes were frozen shut when he was found.

The vet expects Frosty's eyes to both be fine once the infection clears up. The kitten's tail was frozen during his ordeal and there is hope that it can be saved as well.

Frosty is currently in a temporary foster home.

A woman found the kitten frozen to the ground on Gateway Boulevard in Elyria earlier this week.

Frosty is estimated to be between 5 and 6 months old.

The story has brought Friendship APL attention from around the country as well as donations.
