CLEVELAND -- MedWorks will partner with the Cleveland Clinic Stephanie Tubbs Jones Health Center on Saturday, May 3, for a MedWorks Free Medical and Women's Health Clinic.
The free medical clinic will take place at the Stephanie Tubbs Jones Health Center, 13944 Euclid Ave., East Cleveland, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Medical appointments can be made by calling into the MedWorks-WKYC Channel 3 phone bank on TODAY (Friday, April 25, from 11 a.m. -- 1 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. Telephone numbers are (216) 858-6250 or (877) 790-7370. The phone lines will not be open until the designated hours. Walk-in patients will also be accepted on clinic day.
The clinic will feature more than 100 volunteers, health care professionals and support, who will provide a broad range of health services. Services will include women's health exams, pap tests and clinical breast exams, general physical exams and specialty appointments, lab work, pharmacy and HIV and sickle cell testing.
A limited number of mammograms will be available on clinic day as well as post-clinic referrals. Other medical specialties may include: cardiology: ear, nose and throat; urology; rheumatology; and more. Each patient will also meet with a social worker to better understand the next steps in their health care. All services are provided free of charge on clinic day.
