CLEVELAND -- A handful of Cleveland suburbs slid their trick-or-treat night because of Halloween weather.
Strong winds and heavy rain blanketed much of Northeast Ohio Thursday night. But in Cleveland Heights, they were hungry for a tradition that they had to largely skip last year due to Hurricane Sandy.
"This year I'm a little bit beside myself because last year we didn't have power due to the hurricane," says Cleveland Heights resident Heather Terry. "I just want to have Halloween, but I do understand it's a challenge."
The cities of Ashland, Chagrin Falls, Dover and Streetsboro were among the cities that slid their trick-or-treating.
