Cleveland Hopkins International Airport says operations normal after LAX shooting.
CLEVELAND -- Flights and security at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport were not affected by the shooting at Los Angeles International Airport.
Shortly after that shooting happened, officials at Hopkins spoke with the TSA, the FBI, and federal air marshals. They all determined that what happened in LA was an isolated incident and nothing needed to change at Hopkins.
Earlier today, all flights at Hopkins were on time. There were three direct flights from Cleveland to Los Angeles today, two have already landed.
One is scheduled to leave on time at 6 PM.
One flight left Los Angeles on its way to Cleveland just four minutes before the shooting.
They were scheduled to arrive at Hopkins at 6:08 p.m.
Another flight from Los Angeles is scheduled to arrive around 7:45 p.m.
