SUGARCREEK TOWNSHIP -- A teenager was seriously injured in a crash Monday in Stark County, according to the State Highway Patrol.

Nicholas S. Wenger, 18, of Beach City was driving a 1997 Ford F-150 west on Lawndell Road west of Day Avenue about 4:47 p.m. According to the patrol, he went left of center as he crested a hill. He was struck by an eastbound Ford F-350 driven by Michael D. Bair, 30, of North Canton.

After the collision, Wenger's truck continued westbound, driving off the roadway, striking an embankment and overturning onto its roof. Wenger was ejected.
