Euclid -- According to Euclid Police, Euclid Avenue is closed between Bille Road and Chardon Road due to a water main break.

Officials with the Cleveland Water Department tell us that crews are on the scene working to shut off the water and to repair a 36 inch pipe that broke. Because of the break a 5-foot sink hole appeared. The water department is working quickly to get everything fixed.

Residents and businesses in the area may experience low water pressure or water discoloration, but a boil alert has not been issued.

We are told the water is safe to drink.

There is no word on when the repair will be complete or when the road will reopen.
