BEDFORD -- The Giant Eagle grocery store at Northfield and Solon roads was closed temporarily after a pipe burst in the store.

Crews form the Disaster Response company were called out to the store, and employees were turning customers away just after 5pm Wednesday.

An employee at the scene had originally told WKYC that it was a sewer pipe that had ruptured due to the recent cold temperatures followed by today's warmer weather.

The store was closed for about an hour before reopening. New information from store employees revealed that this was a sprinkler problem rather than a sewer line.
