CLEVELAND -- A fire broke out overnight at the Victory White Metal company on Roland Avenue in Cleveland.
The Cleveland Fire Department says they got the call shortly before midnight for a well-involved fire.
Fire department officials say they're in defensive mode now watching for flare ups, with no injuries to report.
In addition to the flames, firefighters are also battling the cold, with trucks and hoses freezing when inactive.
The frigid cold temperatures are a challenge for firefighters on the scene.
Some people report seeing smoke for miles in the area. According to the company's Web site, Victory White Metal makes top quality solders, which is a piece of metal used to join less fusible metals together.
