GREEN -- Authorities say speed appears to be a factor in an overnight crash in which the driver was ejected from her vehicle.

The Summit County Sheriff's Office says the 22-year-old woman lost control while driving a Dodge Avenger west on Koons Road shortly before 1 a.m. Wednesday.

The vehicle went off the roadway and struck a tree. The driver, who was reportedly not wearing a seat belt, was ejected.

The extent of her injuries was not reported.

Koons Road was closed for three hours after the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
