LAKEWOOD -- The Winter Olympics are hot in Lakewood, Ohio. At Serpentini Arena Winterhurst, they are preparing for an influx of new students who are signing up specifically because they were watching the Olympics at home and thought, "I'd like to try that."

Serpentini is still taking new students, but the deadline for winter classes is Feb. 21.

And this year, those classes will be larger than usual.

During an average winter, about 200 people sign up for classes. During the Olympics, it's more like 350!

And while the Olympics are airing, Serpentini is fielding about 10 phone calls a day from people who were watching figure skating and decided they wanted more information about taking some classes.
