BRECKSVILLE -- An event to help local veterans and their families is being held Friday at the Brecksville Human Services Center. A variety of organizations will be there to answer questions for military veterans and their families.
"All of our military personnel have given personal sacrifices in leaving their loved ones to protect our freedoms," Rep Anielski said. "It is my intention to make sure that all those who have served, no matter in what capacity and no matter what era, are aware of the benefits and services available to them during the Military Benefits Fair."
The event is free and open to the public and goes from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The Brecksville Human Services Center is located at 2 Community Drive, Brecksville, 44141.
The fair is asking that veterans or family members of veterans bring DD 214 paperwork or NGB 22 discharge papers. If discharge papers are not available, please bring the social security card of the military personnel.
