SOUTH EUCLID -- A teenage girl has died after a single-car crash Saturday afternoon.
According to Police Sergeant Joe Mays, a car carrying 3 passengers was travelling on Telhurst Road when the car struck a tree and a pole.
The accident happened around 1 p.m.
16-year-old Karly Ciuprinskas was pronounced dead at the scene. She was a passenger in the car.
Two other occupants were transported to area hospitals. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Investigators say speed may have played a factor in the crash, however the crash is still under investigation.
The family says a memorial fund has been established in Karly's name at Huntington Bank.
