FREMONT -- The suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of three people in Fremont has been arrested.

Around 9:29 a.m. Monday, authorities were following up on leads on the whereabouts of 33-year-old Igmidio Mista.

After knocking at the door of a home in the 600 block of South Park Avenue, they were met by one of Mista's relatives. Moments later, Mista himself reportedly came to the door, where he was immediately apprehended and taken into custody without incident.

No questions were asked as Mista asked for his lawyer upon arrival at the Fremont Police Department.

His arrest stems after separate bar shootings that left three people dead and two others wounded.

The first took place around 1:30 a.m. Sunday at the Last Call Saloon in the 500 block of West State Street, where four people were shot.

Pronounced dead at the scene were bartender Ramiro Sanchez along with patrons Daniel Ramirez and Jose "Andy" Chavez. Chavez was an Elmore police officer. He was off-duty at the time of the shooting.

A third patron of the bar was transported from the scene via LifeFlight. His condition is unknown.

Then, around 3 a.m. Sunday, police responded to shots fired in the area of the Night Riders Motorcycle Club on Allen Street. Although there were no victims found at the scene, a man later arrived at Fremont Memorial Hospital with a gunshot to the abdomen.

Immigration and customs officers made contact with the department shortly after the arrest and will be contacting the Philippine's consulate regarding Mista and his status to be in the United States legally.
