SOUTH EUCLID -- A Cedar Road resident called police after he found a man he didn't know sleeping on his living room couch.

Police went to the home just before 5 a.m. Sunday and discovered that the man was a local college student whose friends had reported him missing after he wandered away from a party late Saturday night, according to the police department's Facebook page.

Police said he appeared highly intoxicated and was unable to explain why he was in the home, though it was later learned he pushed open a door on the north side of the house.

Police charged the 20-year-old New York man with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct intoxication.
