Officers found the body of Michelle Johnson on March 15. Johnson's mother asked officers to check on the welfare of her daughter since she hadn't heard from her in two days.
Police found Johnson's body underneath blankets in a shed at the home where she lived on Maplepark Road.
The Summit County Medical Examiner ruled the death a homicide and determined the cause of death was due to sharp force injuries to the neck.
