A 20-foot-tall outdoor chandelier, which will shimmer above Euclid Avenue at E. 14th Street, is set to be the crowning jewel of the installation with more than 4,200 crystals. It will be unveiled during a ceremony on May 2.
When it's complete, officials are hoping it will set a world record as the largest outdoor chandelier.
"Our goal is to take the beauty of what you see in this magnificent lobby, with the chandeliers and the ornamentation, and really take the beauty outdoors," said Art Falco, PlayhouseSquare CEO.
PlayhouseSquare is the largest performing arts center outside of New York City.
