AKRON -- A jury has convicted a third person in connection with a home robbery.

According to the Summit County prosecutor, the jury found Demarco Wright, 20, of Akron guilty of three counts of aggravated robbery, four counts of kidnapping, one count of aggravated burglary and tampering with evidence.

Prosecutors say on October 25, Wright and two co-defendants kicked in the door of a college studen'ts house on Brown Street with the intent to rob the residents.

A girl upstairs in the attic at the time of the robbery called police. Officers arrived while all three defendants were still inside the home.

Wright's co-defendants, Teon Lipkins and Derrick Recktenwalt, pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated robbery, four counts of kidnapping and aggravated burglary on February 14.

A judge sentence Lipkins to 12 years in prison. Recktenwalt is awaiting sentencing.

Wright is scheduled for sentencing on May 21.
