AKRON -- The Akron Fire Department is investigating what caused a fire at an elementary school in Akron early Tuesday.

Crews were dispatched to St. Anthony's School on East York Street just after 3 a.m.

Officials on scene say most of the blaze was contained to one classroom, but parts of the building sustained smoke damage. The door to the classroom was closed, which prevented the blaze from spreading throughout the school.

Fire officials are still investigating the exact cause of the blaze, but say they're not suspecting arson at this time.
