ASHTABULA -- State Highway Patrol troopers stopped a 2005 Dodge Magnum, with Ohio registration, just before 3 a.m. Wednesday for a license plate light and failure to signal violations on Seymour Avenue here.

They became suspicious of the driver so they called for the Ashtabula Police Department's drug-sniffing K-9, which alerted to the vehicle.

Troopers say a probable cause search revealed more than half a pound each of cocaine and Fentanyl and more than five ounces of liquid PCP, with a street value of approximately $22,000.

The driver, Brandon T. Jones, 25, of Cleveland, was jailed in the Ashtabula County Jail and charged with possession of cocaine, a first-degree felony.
