CLEVELAND -- Cleveland Hopkins Airport Commissioner Fred Szabo confirmed to Channel 3 that a police K-9 doing a routine sweep of the public parking lots had"alerted" on a car.

Szabo says the K-9 detected something about the Mercedes in the Orange public parking lot near state Route 237.

The Cleveland Bomb Squad tells WKYC as of 5:30 p.m. that no explosive device was found and they are leaving the scene.

Cleveland Police say the K-9 probably sniffed an element or residue, like a gardening product.
