CLEVELAND -- The one police officer facing felony charges in the deadly November 2012 chase made his first court appearance Friday.

Officer Michael Brelo appeared in court shortly after 9 a.m. Friday where a not guilty plea was entered and the judge set bond at $10,000. Brelo will have a pretrial hearing on June 20 at 9 a.m.

Brelo is charged with two counts of manslaughter in the deaths of Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams.

An investigation revealed Brelo fired nearly 50 shots during the incident.

Brelo was indicted last month. Five other officers are facing misdemeanor charges connected to the incident. Each of them had bond set at $1,000 with a pretrial hearing also slated for 9 a.m. on June 20.
