Cleveland Police are now saying that the spilled tar has now sealed to the roadway and will have to be removed.

CLEVELAND -- Hot asphalt spilled onto the roadway early Thursday morning after a truck overturned in the eastbound lanes of the Innerbelt's Dead Man's Curve.

Cleveland Police are now saying that the spilled tar has now sealed to the roadway and will have to be removed.

All lanes of I-90 eastbound at the Innerbelt Curve are now open.

Overnight tonight, crews will again close two lanes of I-90 eastbound at the Innerbelt Curve from 8:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. Friday as operations continue to removal the liquid asphalt that adhered to the surface.

Clean-up crews are likely to remain in the area all day
