CLEVELAND -- Firefighters spent several hours battling a blaze on Broadway Avenue near Miles Park Avenue.

The triple two-alarm fire sparked around 1 a.m. Tuesday before spreading to two other buildings.

Part of a building collapsed during the incident, causing the closure of Broadway Avenue.

More than 10 engines responded. Just before 5 a.m., seven still remained on scene.

Fire dispatch says it appears all three buildings are abandoned.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
