MAYFIELD HEIGHTS -- Police have made an arrest of two suspects they believe are responsible for three armed robberies at Pizza Hut dating back to December.

Here's how it came about.

At 11:13 a.m. Sunday, police were called to the Pizza Hut at 5867 Mayfield Road after employees called and said an armed robbery was in progress.

The suspect, a young black man, had already run out of the shop before officers arrived.

Police say this robbery was similar to two other robberies at Pizza Hut which occurred Dec. 1 and Feb. 3.

On Wednesday, two people were taken into custody in connection with all three robberies.

They are Ebony Williams and Saleem Banks, both of Cleveland. Police say Williams has been an employee of Pizza Hut for approximately two years and lives with Banks.

Police say both Williams and Banks will be charged with three counts of aggravated robbery, as well as additional charges which will be presented to the grand jury.
