Drivers in Cleveland, Akron, and Columbus will be seeing new billboard messages from the FBI seeking information in the unsolved kidnapping and murder of Amy Mihaljevic.
The FBI says the billboards are posted in Cleveland in the following locations:
- I-77 & Pershing (facing north)
- I-71 & Brookpark (facing north)
- I-480 & Grayton (facing east)
- I-480 & Lee (facing east)
- I-480 & Northfield (facing west)
The FBI says the billboards are just the latest effort to let the public know the agency is still seeking information in the unsolved case.
A $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible has been offered.
Amy was lured to a Bay Village shopping strip on Oct. 27, 1989, and was never seen again. The FBI says someone called Amy prior to her abduction to arrange to meet with her under the guise of selecting a gift for her mother.
A jogger found Amy's body on Feb. 8, 1990 in an Ashland County field. She had been stabbed and suffered head trauma.
Anybody with information in this case is asked to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324).
