BAY VILLAGE -- Just before 11:30 a.m. Thursday, police say a maintenance worker called police to report two Bay High School students returning from lunch were being chased by a man near the football field.

The maintenance worker provided a description to the police and a detective located the man within minutes on Foote Road.

The man was identified as Bradley Dougan, 35, and police found him to be intoxicated.

An investigation revealed Dougan began following the two students and then chased them towards school property, yelling and making aggressive gestures.

It was quickly determined there was no physical contact between Dougan and the students.

Bay High took appropriate security measures and there was no danger to anyone at the school.

Dougan was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct intoxication, menacing and inducing panic.
