MAPLE HEIGHTS -- A man is dead after a shooting early Wednesday in Maple Heights.

According to police, they received a report of shots fired about 1:15 a.m.

They arrived in the 20900 block of Watson Road and found Kyle Ross, 22, with a gunshot wound to the upper body.

He was taken to South Pointe Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The incident is under investigation and further details will be released when they become available, police said.
