WILLOUGHBY -- Severe weather came through parts of northeast Ohio late Monday. Winds were so powerful in Willoughby last that a plane flipped upside down at Lost Nation Airport.

The owner of the plane told Channel 3 that the aircraft is a total loss and it took six years to build the Zenith 701 plane. Planes like this weigh anywhere from 5-hundred to a thousand pounds.

So far, there are no other reports of severe damage to other planes at the airport.
