CLEVELAND -- The four suspects in the killing of Brennan's Colony owner Jim Brennan made their first appearance in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court Thursday morning.

Their $1 million bonds were continued and a first pretrial date was set for Aug. 20 by Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court Judge Maureen Clancy.

Brandon Jones, 23, Darien Jones, 21, and Devonne Turner, 26, were each charged with two counts of aggravated murder, four counts of kidnapping, three counts of aggravated robbery, two counts of aggravated burglary, two counts of felonious assault and one count of murder.

Devonne Turner also was charged with one count each of receiving stolen property and having weapons under disability.

The grand jury also indicted Paul Turner, 23, on two counts of obstructing justice and one count each of having weapons under disability and tampering with evidence.

Brennan, 61, was shot just before 1 p.m. June 30 during an attempted robbery at his restaurant.
