CLEVELAND -- The Cleveland Browns have accepted the #IceBucketChallenge, issued by the New York Jets. The team, along with Head Coach Mike Pettine, faced the chill early Friday.
The challenge raises awareness and money for charity, including those that benefit ALS research.
At noon in Oberlin, two dozens employees of the medical products company, Synapse BioMedical, took the challenge. The company's founder Tony Ignagni presented the Northern Ohio chapter of the ALS Association with a check for $2,500.
WKYC Channel 3 raised the bar in our #IceBucketChallenge at Soak City at Cedar Point. In addition to getting soaked, WKYC is donating $1,000 to the ALS Association of Northern Ohio.
