EUCLID - Two people are in the hospital after a shooting on East 260th Street near Euclid Avenue overnight.

It happened around 12:30 a.m., when police say they received reports of a man driving around with a rifle.

Then, shots were heard in the area.

Police responded and found two people with gunshot wounds in a car and rushed them to the hospital.

Police say their identities and conditions are not being re­leased at this time. No suspect information is available at this time.

Anyone with any infor­mation regarding these shootings is asked to contact the Euclid Police Department's De­tective Bureau at 216-289-8505.

Euclid Police and BCI were on the scene all morning, trying to learn more about what happened and who the victims are.

East 260th Streethas been shut down between I-90 and Tungsten for the investigation.

Later in the morning, a driver passing by looking at the scene caused a four-car accident, but no one was hurt.
