The closure is part of a minor rehabilitation project that will rebuild the ramp
GEAUGA COUNTY -- The Rte 44 entrance ramp to Rte 422 will close for 30 days beginning April 17, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
The closure is part of a minor rehabilitation project that will rebuild the ramp.
Motorists can detour via Rte 44 northbound to state Route 87 westbound to state Route 306 southbound, to U.S. 422 westbound.
Also on April 17, crews will shift all lanes of traffic onto U.S. 422 eastbound for about four months. One lane will be maintained in each direction.
The entire project rehabilitates U.S. 422 between state Routes 306 and 44, including replacing the 422 eastbound exit and westbound entrance ramps to 44 in Bainbridge and Auburn townships.
