A former Thompson Township woman has pleaded guilty to one count of involuntary manslaughter for her husband's death in 2013.

Rita Greifenstein, then 66, called police in October 2013 and told them she had shot her husband, Peter, according to authorities.

She told the dispatcher that he had hit her with a pan and she shot him. She told the dispatcher that she thought the gun was in the kitchen but she was afraid to go into the kitchen.
