Employees at the stores were issued a ticket for selling alcohol to minors and will have to appear in court.

MENTOR -- This past weekend, the Mentor Police Department conducted an operation targeting stores selling alcohol to minors. Officers attempted underage buys at 24 stores.

The following stores sold alcohol to a person under 21:

  • Speedway at 7340 Lakeshore Boulevard
  • Convenient at 4680 Corduroy Road
  • 7/11 at 5711 Heisley Road
  • Speedway at 7745 Reynolds Road
  • Sheetz at 7777 Reynolds Road.
  • Convenient at 7488 Mentor Avenue

Employees at the stores were issued a ticket for selling alcohol to minors and will have to appear in court.

Mentor Police commented that they "...appreciate the 18 other stores for strictly enforcing no sales of alcohol to minors."
