WILLOUGHBY, Ohio -- A 14-year-old girl was rescued from the Chagrin River in Lake County Monday.
According to Willoughby Police, the girl fell into the river and was taken downstream by the strong currents. The girl was able to make it to a rock where crews rescued her by boat.
Crews from the Eastlake Fire Department and Lake Metroparks assisted with the rescue.
Police say she was evaluated for hypothermia. No further information was immediately available.
