WILLOUGHBY -- Willoughby police need help finding a man they say passed several counterfeit $50 bills at a business in downtown Willoughby late last month.

Surveillance cameras captured photos of the man inside the store and then leaving in a silver Chevrolet Impala. The incident occurred at the 7-Eleven convenient store at the BP gas station at Erie Street and Mentor Avenue, according to detective Lt. Jim Schultz.

Police posted the photos to the department's Facebook page Monday afternoon and since then know the man's identity. They are not yet releasing his name but are hoping someone who sees the pictures may know where he is.

Police ask that anyone who has any information about the man's whereabouts contact detective Charles Deutsch at (440) 953-4210.
