WELLINGTON -- Police and the FBI need help identifying a man who robbed the Lorain Metro Federal Credit Union at 216 North Main Street Street Saturday morning around 11:45 a.m.
The suspect is described as a heavyset man between 6' to 6'4" tall with a black goatee. He was wearing a grey T-shirt, khaki shorts, a ball cap and sunglasses. He may walk with a limp.
The man motioned as if he had a weapon, but did not show one. He verbally threatened the teller when she did not immediately give in to his demands.
The man fled on foot. A witness recognized the man as he left, saying he drives an older, rusted red Chevy S-10, a white truck bap with a red stripe.
