SHEFFIELD LAKE, Ohio -- Sheffield Lake police need the public's help finding escaped prisoner Jeremy Frey.

Frey was taken to Sheffield Lake jail Friday evening on a felony charge of domestic violence. While in jail, Frey complained of an illness and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Lorain.

At the hospital, he was able to remove his I.V. and leave the hospital, getting past security.

Police believe friends and family will try and help Frey. Police caution anyone who helps him could be charged with a felony.

Anyone who may know Frey's whereabouts is asked to call the Sheffield Lake Police Department at 440-949-7131.
