BRUNSWICK HILLS TOWNSHIP -- The State Fire Marshall and Medina County investigators are working to determine the cause of a fire yesterday at a Brunswick Hills Township home.

Firefighters were called to the home on Fox Haven Drive on Thursday afternoon. Flames were visible from the outside of the house as crews arrived.

The intense fire caused a portion of the roof to collapse.

Firefighters declared the fire under control in than an hour but remained on scene for hours afterward to cool hot spots.

None of the 24 firefighters were hurt. No one was home at the time of the fire.

Brunswick, Medina Township and Valley City fire departments helped battle the fire
