MEDINA COUNTY: According to the group, "Feeding Medina County," one in four children living in that county do not have access to food. In order to change that troubling statistic, the group started a tradition and today, planted its 2nd annual Community Garden.

Several members of the community came together to fill the garden with fruits, vegetables and herbs that will be harvested to support hunger outreach groups.

Ron Maitland of "Feeding Medina County" reflected on the turnout of the event today with optimism. "We couldn't do it without volunteers and today we had at least forty to sixty people show up...we are looking forward to a bountiful harvest."
